PUSD schools open, buses running a little slow

All schools in the Plumas Unified School District are open Wednesday and starting on schedule, however, buses will be running a little slow this morning due to the snowy conditions and the chain requirements in all areas.

Give yourself a few extra minutes to get around this morning, the roads are very icy.

Early reports show the Chester area received approximately seven inches of new snow, while on the other end of the county, Portola added about three inches to their total.
