Load limits ordinance

ORDINANCE NO. 2010-1073

AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF PLUMAS, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 4-3.206 TO ARTICLE 2 OF CHAPTER 3 OF TITLE 4 OF THE PLUMAS COUNTY CODE

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Plumas, State of California, ORDAINS as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 4-3.206 is hereby added to Article 2 of Chapter 3 of Title 4 of the Plumas County Code

Section 4-3.206. Temporary Suspension of Load Limits.

The Road Commissioner may temporarily suspend any load limit established by this Article.

SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE; PUBLICATION; CODIFICATION.

This ordinance shall become effective 30 days after its date of final adoption. It shall be published in the Feather River Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation in Plumas County, within 15 days of final adoption. Section 1 of this ordinance shall be codified, and the remainder shall be uncodified.

Introduction at a regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors on the 2nd day of March, 2010, and passed and adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Plumas, State of California, on the 9th day of March, 2010, by the following vote:

Proposed restoration project

ADOPT A NEGATIVE DECLARATION

for

Red Clover Poco Restoration Project

NOTICE is given that Negative Declaration #648 has determined that this project, Red Clover Poco Restoration Project, will not have a significant adverse effect on the environment if it is funded and implemented. This project is also subject to NEPA review, as it is located entirely on National Forest lands in T24N, R13E, Sections 4, 5, 9 &10; and T25N, R13E, Sections 27, 32, 33 & 34 MDB&M; along Plumas County Road 111 (Genesee-Beckwourth Road), This CEQA document is proposed to be adopted and has been filed with the Planning Department. It is now available for inspection and review. The CEQA review period for this Negative Declaration is from March 17, 2010 - April 15, 2010. Written comments concerning this CEQA document will be accepted through the last day of the review period. Comments should be directed to Jim Graham, Senior Planner, Plumas County Planning Department, 5 Main St, Quincy CA 95971, or 530-283-7011. The project is undergoing CEQA review as well as NEPA review, per requirements of the State of California, who would fund the project if the Beckwourth District Ranger decides to implement the project.
