Plumas Arts will host the 41st annual Almanor Art Show Aug. 7 - 8, on the Collins Pine lawn on Highway 36, in Chester. Admission to the show is free and hours are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday and noon - 4 p.m. Sunday.
The Almanor Art Show is one of Northern California's oldest and most respected fine arts and crafts shows, offering dozens of booths brimming with original, artful, interesting and sometimes unusual work by professional artists from Northern California, Oregon, Nevada and beyond.
Enjoy a Sierra summertime afternoon in this beautiful location. The juried show offers diverse works in a variety of user-friendly to extravagant price ranges. Work includes paintings, drawings, sculpture, pottery, photography, stained glass, clothing, metal work, woodturnings, jewelry, furniture and more.
There will also be several quality food booths.
Patrons will also be treated to acoustic live music both afternoons with a selection of familiar popular and jazz standards by 8 O'clock Jazz and Doug Sheehy.
