OPEN HOUSE THURSDAY
A traditional "English Farmhouse Tea" is the theme of an open house Thursday, July 29, from 4-8 p.m., at Sierra Park to show off the newest solar and energy efficient home, The Gordale. Project Manager Les Ellis said in addition to building Energy Star-certified homes with lower homeowner costs at the affordable housing development just off Lee Road in Quincy, they are offering a new $5,000 finder's fee. And that is in addition to their 10-year buyer's warranty and assistance with the $10,000 California tax credit. Hostess Heather Alexander is providing yummy English scones, cakes and refreshing beverages. RSVP at 283-9301.

Joseph and Kathryn Fisher are enjoying their eighth year in business in Quincy with Bullet Information Technology Solutions. They provide an array of computer services that include maintenance and repairs, networking solutions and software support. Kathryn also offers mobile notary services throughout Plumas County.

The first year is now behind Terry Moore and Gina Prince as proprietors of Cuccia's, an Italian restaurant in Mohawk featuring scrumptious pastas and pizzas, beer and wine. They now have an off sale license so they sell wines to go as well from their vast inventory.

It's kind of confusing to acknowledge the hardworking Dave Reynolds and the two years he has actively been operating Dave's Carpet and Window Cleaning given the 12 years experience he has in the trade. But, that is how long he has been back taking care of his customers from his fully-equipped and completely self-contained service vehicle with its own fresh water supply and generator.

Teri Haas is now in her eighth year with her very successful - as evidenced by the smiling faces on her four-legged customers - Top Dog Grooming Studio. You will find her studio located off Quincy Junction Road on Bell Lane.
