Frenchman Lake
Fishing at Frenchman's remains steady and plentiful. Fishermen are catching limits, weighing 1-1/2 to 2 pounds and about 17 - 21 inches in length. Nightcrawlers seem to be the best bait.
The east side of the lake, at Crystal and Turkey Point, are favorites and early morning seems to be the best time. Fishermen are catching rainbow trout, crawdads and catfish.
Call for current updates 993-4683.

Feather River & Lakes Basin
The river was stocked last week. Clio bridge to Mohawk Bridge fishing good. Panther Martins and Rooster Tails best spinners. Drifting crawlers w/o weight also producing fish. Foaming beetles and ants in the good flies.
Gold Lake, Sardine, and Packer Lake fishing slow. Salmon Lake has been recently stocked and is producing fish. Fishing by the swim platform or the back cove best places. Report courtesy of Ace Mountain Hardware & Sports; 836-2589
