QUINCY CLINIC LOSES A DOCTOR

With regret, Plumas District Hospital announced the early departure of Dr. Charles Eck, who was slated to work at the hospital for nine months. Unfortunately, shortly after he began seeing patients at Quincy Family Medicine, Dr. Eck learned of a personal medical issue to which he must attend immediately. No word on a replacement has been made yet.



GAS PURCHASES HELP G'VILLE HIGH

John Papenhausen at Mohawk Trading Co. in Greenville will donate a portion of its sales to Greenville High School. One cent from the sale of every gallon of gasoline sold during the month will be given to GHS to help fund field trips, science projects, tutoring, reward barbecues and the school's good citizenship awards.



GREENVILLE CHAMBER MIXER

Mt. Huff Golf Course is the site of the next Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce mixer Friday, Oct. 8. The main dish, ham, will be provided. Guests are asked to bring a complementary dish to share. At sunset, there will be a contest using glow-in-the-dark golf balls. The chamber wants R.S.V.P.s by Oct. 5, call 284-6633.



LE COQ CLOSED FOR WEEK

Caf LeCoq in Quincy is just closing Sept. 30 - Oct. 5. Owners Patrick and Donata are taking their little girl, Simone, to the Shriners Children's Hospital for another surgery. They apologize for any inconvenience and invite you to come in when they reopen for some of Patrick's fall favorites!



NEW NAME, NEW LOCATION

After six years in Blairsden proper, Susan Wilson, C.R.M, M.P. has moved her massage business, renamed Still Point Massage, to the Corner Barn at Highway 70 and 89. Susan said her new location is readily accessible and larger, with plenty of convenient parking. Susan will also showcase her artwork, which is for sale.
