PLUMAS NATIONAL FOREST

The Canyon Dam MP Timber Sale is located within Sections 14, 15, 26, 27, 28, 33 and 34 of T. 27 N., R. 8 E., MDM. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Mt Hough Ranger District Offices at 11:00 AM local time on 01/11/2011 for an estimated volume of 583.9 CCF of Douglas fir sawtimber, 482.4 CCF of incense cedar sawtimber, 650.9 CCF of ponderosa pine sawtimber, 149.3 CCF of sugar pine sawtimber, 1443.4 CCF of white fir sawtimber, and 2691.2 CCF of combined softwood non-saw (biomass) marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Mt Hough Ranger District, 39696 Hwy 70, Quincy CA, 95971, ph (530) 283-0555.
