The Beckwourth Ranger District is developing a proposal to rehabilitate the Lake Davis Dam Kiosk. This would include gutting the existing building, repairing the roof structure and placing new concrete on the patio, to create a covered picnic area. A new accessible single vault toilet would be installed adjacent to the building in the existing parking area.

The Kiosk is located in the Lake Davis Management Area # 37 T24N R13E Sections 1 & 2. Your comments regarding this proposal would be most useful if received before February 4, 2011. The Beckwourth Ranger District is developing a proposal to install two toilet facilities at the Gold Lake Campground. This campground is located off the Gold Lake Highway in T21N, R.12E., Sections 16 & 17, Management Area 35 (Lakes Basin).  The project would install two vault toilets with the Sweet Smelling Toilet (SST) design. Currently there are two vault toilets, and additional portable toilets are provided during the high use summer season.
