If you’ve never donated blood at one of Quincy’s four community drives each year, June might be the one to start!
United Blood Services is putting the “drive” in “blood drive” by offering an added incentive to donors, a chance to win a new 2010 Toyota Corolla. All presenting donors who participate in any UBS blood drive between June 1st and September 10th will have their name entered in a drawing to win this car, donated by Northern Nevada Toyotadealers in Reno, Fallon, and Carson City.
The blood drive will be held on Tuesday, June 7th, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at the corner of Bucks Lake Road and Bellamy Lane. Donors can choose a time between 12:00 noon and 6 p.m.
