IV Hospital for sale: directors meet to declare it surplus

Indian Valley Hospital may go up for sale soon after health care district directors meet Monday, June 6, to discuss and take action on the formal declaration of surplus.

A special note on the agenda explains that the surplus declaration does not include the clinic building and property.

There is not a note about the helicopter pad, though, which is what directors have talked about trying to keep in the past.

The helicopter pad is used for emergency medical situations.

Other items on the agenda include a report about the deed of reconveyance for a 2006 loan from Plumas Bank, and a report from Indian Valley Clinic Manager John Evans titled, “Indian Valley, a valley of volunteers.”

Directors will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Indian Valley Community Center, 209 Highway 89 in Greenville, across from Sierra Sunrise Coffee House and Deli.
