Wade Bradley Preston was born to Jennifer and Bradley Preston, of Portola, on May 17, 2011, at 8:53 p.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. Wade weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces.
Maternal grandparents are Carolyn and John Szczerby, of Portola.
Paternal grandparents are Carol Corn, of Big Fork, Mont., and Robert Preston, of West Covina, Calif.
Wade is also welcomed by sibling Ava Preston, 2-1/2.
Emily Olivia Sweeney was born to Joanne Burgueo and Bret Sweeney, of Quincy, on June 1, 2011, at 12:55 p.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. Emily weighed 7 pounds.
Maternal grandparents are Olivia and Abdiel Burgueo, of Phoenix, Ariz.
Paternal grandparents are Cathy and James Sweeney, of Santa Cruz Mountains.
Emily is also welcomed by sister Ella, 4.
