PLUMAS NATIONAL FOREST

The Canyon Dam MP Timber Sale is located within Sections 14, 15, 22, 26, 27, 28, 33 and 34 of T.27N., R.8E.,MDM. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Mt Hough Ranger District Offices at 10:00AM local time on 07/27/2011 for an estimated volume of 583.9 CCF of Douglas fir sawtimber, 482.4 CCF of incense cedar sawtimber, 651 CCF of ponderosa pine sawtimber, 149.4 CCF of sugar pine sawtimber, 1443.5 CCF of white fir sawtimber, and 2691.2 CCF of combined softwood biomass marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Mt Hough Ranger District, 39696 Hwy 70, Quincy CA, 95971, ph (530) 283-0555.

The Fant Fire Salvage Timber Sale is located within Sec 2, 3, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 22, 24, 25, 35, 36, T27N, R11E and Sec 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 29, 30, 31, T27N, R12E, MDM. The USDA, Forest Service will receive sealed bids at the Mt Hough Ranger District, 39696 Hwy 70, QUINCY, CA at 10:00 AM local time on 07/13/2011 for an estimated volume of 384 MBF of incense cedar sawtimber, 1018 MBF of ponderosa pine sawtimber, 250 MBF of sugar pine sawtimber, and 1695 MBF of white fir sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is within the sale area an unestimated volume of Combined Softwood cull logs, Douglas fir sawtimber, Combined Softwood non-saw, Salvage Douglas fir sawtimber, Salvage incense cedar sawtimber, Salvage lodgepole pine sawtimber, Salvage ponderosa pine sawtimber, Salvage sugar pine sawtimber, and Salvage white fir sawtimber that the bidder may agree to remove at a fixed rate.
