NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE GRIZZLY LAKE COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT REGARDING THE PROPOSED ADOPTION OF INCREASED
CONNECTION FEES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on August 10, 2011 the Board of Directors of the Grizzly Lake Community Services District will hold a public hearing to receive oral and written testimony regarding the proposed adoption of increased water and wastewater connection fees ("Connection Fees"). The increased Connection Fees would be imposed on new connections to the District's water and wastewater systems in order for such connections to pay their proportionate share of the cost of connection to the these systems.  A report setting forth the estimated cost required for connection to the water and wastewater systems for which the proposed increased Connection Fee would be imposed, is available for public review at the District's office located at 119 Delleker Road Portola, CA 96122. The hearing will be held at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practicable, at Grizzly Lake Community Services District office, 119 Delleker Drive, Portola.
Written comments may be filed with the General Manager of the District at any time prior to the conclusion of the public hearing. Those desiring to orally comment may do so during the hearing. Written comments should be addressed to the attention of the General Manager at the following address: 119 Delleker Road Portola, CA 96122. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board may adopt a resolution establishing the increased Connection Fees.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the PLUMAS Local Agency Formation Commission will hold a public hearing on the following item:
A Municipal Service Review for services provided by the City of Portola, Grizzly Ranch CSD, Beckwourth CSA, Eastern Plumas Parks and Rec District, Eastern Plumas Rural Fire District, Whitehawk Ranch CSD, Graeagle FPD, Grizzly Lake RID, Gold Mountain CSD, Eastern Plumas Health Care District, Sierra Valley FD, Portola Cemetery District, Clio PUD, C-Road CSD, Last Chance Creek Water District, Plumas Eureka CSD, Beckwourth FPD within eastern Plumas County. LAFCO is required to conduct a Municipal Service Review consistent with the policies and procedures of Plumas LAFCO and the LAFCO Act.
The Municipal Service Review will be available for review at the LAFCO webpage 14 days prior to the initial hearing on the LAFCO website at www.calafco.org/local/plumas. It is the intent of the Commission to continue the public hearing to the next available LAFCO meeting. The Commission will not be making a final determination at the August 8th 2011 meeting given the size of the document, but will nevertheless be requesting comments from the public.
