Mt. Huff Thursday Night Scramble
Mt. Huff again had a wonderful turnout for their Thursday Night Nine and Dine Scramble. They had nine teams. The weather was perfect with a slight breeze.
After a chip-off between Jeff Stevens and Zach Russell, the Jeff Stevens, Mike Ruggeri, Jim Bryant and Ron Ridge team came in first, while Zack Russell, Auston Linford and Leaf Van Pelt came in second. Greg Stevens, Richard Mauldin, Paris Moore and Paul Eagan came in third.
Jim Bryant placed the ball closest to the hole and Greg Stevens hit the longest drive. We again had a super dinner; next week’s menu calls for Josh’s world-famous tacos. All are welcome.
Also forgot to mention that during our Twilight Golf July 2, Fred Roath made an amazing shot for a hole-in-one in the dark. Congratulations, Fred.
We are having a four-person, two-man best ball tournament Aug. 7; call for details.
Hope to see you — the greens are smooth.
