James Edward Lee Middleton Braswell was born at Plumas District Hospital, on Dec. 5, 2002, at 10:53 a.m., to Bobby Braswell and Jody Chavez of Quincy. The new arrival weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Lena and Todd Bruso of Quincy, and James Keith Teaster of Tennessee. Paternal grandparents are Charlotte Knight and Bert Plante and Ron Braswell, all of Quincy. Great-grandparents are Bill and Louise Mcgill and Colombus and Jaunita Teaster, all of Tennessee; Alice and Henry Knight of Quincy; and Rose and Dale Braswell of Auburn. James joins his siblings, Angelic Chavez, 6, Magdalen Chavez, 3, and Kaylene R. Braswell, 10 months, at home.

Gabrielle Sophia Munoz was born Dec. 5, 2002 at 7:30 p.m., at Henry Mayo Hospital in Valencia, to Jason and Shannon Munoz. The new arrival weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Larry and Miriam Droke of Fullerton. Paternal grandparents are Joseph and Margaret Munoz of Quincy. Great-grandparents are Armand and Sarah Munoz of San Diego and Mary Sweeten of Mission Viejo.
