Fifty prizes will be given away at the Nuchester Pavilion at the Chester Chamber of Commerce dance for the benefit of its advertising fund. Admission to the dance is $1.00. Proceeds will be used to advertise the Chester recreational area.

The Plumas County Fair ended its most successful five-day run last week with a total attendance of 27,377, more than 3354 over lasts years mark and an all-time high. The largest attendance was on hand for the Sunday afternoon rodeo and auto races.

The Feather River Bulletin celebrated 120 years last week. On August 11, 1866 the Plumas National-Bulletin newspaper, the original newspaper in what was later to become the Feather River Bulletin, began publication.
