M3.8 aftershock felt in Plumas County Sunday morning
The US Geological Survey has lowered the intensity of the earthquake to M3.8.
Original post 6:30 a.m. - A M4.1 earthquake was felt at 6:25 a.m. Sunday morning in Plumas, Lassen and Sierra counties. The epicenter was in a similar location as the quake last Wednesday, this time it was nine miles SSE from Whitehawk, CA (39.604°N, 120.473°W), with a depth of 8.7 miles. This again puts the epicenter in Sierra County.The Did You Feel It? shakemap shows a much smaller area of Northern California having felt the quake with responses as far as the Sacramento Valley.
