For the second straight year, the Feather River College women’s volleyball team has won the Golden Valley Conference title with a perfect 10-0 record.

The Golden Eagles swept their final three games against Redwoods, Siskiyous and Lassen, bringing their overall record to 21-7.

FRC, ranked seventh in Northern California and 16th in the state, will likely get a home playoff match Tuesday, Nov. 22.

“This is the best team that we have ever had at Feather River College, and we are really excited about playoffs,” said FRC coach Sarah Ritchie. “We are really working hard to make it back to state this year.”

Ritchie said that in their past three matches, the Golden Eagles have had excellent play from Jovana Sisovic, Natalie Ray, Julia Lynch and Marilyn Agae.
