Opportunity to Comment
The Forest Service, Plumas National Forest, Beckwourth Ranger District, is preparing an Environmental Assessment for the Grizzly Valley, Grizzly Valley Community and Humbug Allotments Project. The proposed action is to reauthorize the continued livestock grazing on three allotments near Lake Davis. The three allotments are: Grizzly Valley, Grizzly Valley Community, and Humbug.  The Grizzly Valley Allotment is located in T23N, R12E, Sections 1 and 12, T23N, R13E, Sections 3-8, 10, 11, 17, 18, T24N, R12E, Sections 12, 13, 24, 25, 35, 36, T24N, R13E, Sections, 15-22, 29, 29-34. The Grizzly Valley Community Allotment is located in T24N, R11E, Sections 18 and 12, T24N, R12E, Sections 2-5, 8-17, 19-30 and 33-36, T25N, R12E, Section 35.  The Humbug Allotment is located in T23N, R13E, Sections 3-5, 8-11, 14-16, 22, 23, 26, and 27. All three allotments are within the Beckwourth Ranger District, Plumas National Forest, Plumas County, California.
