Television cable customers in Graeagle, Indian Valley and American Valley will begin paying $15.95 for monthly services--a 6.6 per cent rate increase.
After months of debate the Greenville Community Services District voted to move their train depot to Greenville Park. An advisory committee will be formed to assist in planning the move and rehabilitation of the depot building.
Joyce Stockwell of Lake Almanor was the winner of a $50,000 scratch-off lottery ticket. Bought at the Susanville Thrifty Store, the Stockwells are the owners of the Village Inn Restaurant on the Lake Almanor Peninsula.

The Feather River College Board of Trustees this week approved a site plan for the campus to include a new soccer field, softball fields, horse stables, horse arena and a classroom for the lower portion of the Quincy campus.
