Anniversary, new computers
It was 20 years ago this month that Ron and Stephanie Horton became affiliated with Les Schwab Tires as a member/dealer. Ron said at the time he was certain it was the right move and now, just two decades later, he is a growing part of the third largest tire dealer with 440 stores in the United States. By virtue of better selection, pricing and product warranties with Schwab, Ron and Steph have grown from four employees in 1992 to the 11 they have today. Six years ago, they also moved into their much-expanded service center on Highway 70 next to the Plumas Pines Shopping Center.
On another note, the two ask for your patience as they deal with the learning curve associated with a new computer system just installed called Customer First. Ron said his store is in the last group of Schwab stores to have the system installed. He said one of the highlights of the system is the networking ability it has with every Les Schwab store across the country putting the “Customer First!”
