We offer an apology to our readers outside of Quincy for the newspaper reaching them a day late of the last issue. The delay was caused by a break in the newspaper press and the holiday.
George Donnenwirth was here in Quincy early in the week with a head of turkeys. He sold 40 of these birds, many of them bringing in as much as $2.50 each.
