The Chester High School ski team traveled to Boreal Feb. 14 for its regularly scheduled race, only for it to be cancelled at the last minute by consensus of team coaches on strong recommendation from Boreal staff indicating conditions were determined to be dangerous and likely to result in injury to racers.
The race was rescheduled as a double up, slalom and giant slalom, on Feb. 17. The team again traveled to Boreal and was greeted with much more favorable conditions and wins.
