Notice is given that the Plumas County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding the following:
Consideration of the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the General Plan Update
Recommendation to the Board of Supervisors that the Board of Supervisors certify the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the General Plan Update (Plumas County EIR Number 85)
Consideration of changes to the General Plan Update (aka Goals and Policies Report) due to
     ¥    changes required by the Final
        Environmental Impact Report
        (FEIR),
    ¥    minor editorial changes by staff
        which do not substantially change
        the Project Description contained
        in the Draft Environmental Impact
        Report (DEIR) and Final
        Environmental Impact Report
        (FEIR)
Recommendation to the Board of Supervisors that the Board of Supervisors include these changes to the General Plan Update (aka Goals and Policies Report)
Recommendation that the Board of Supervisors approve the General Plan Update (aka Goals and Policies Report) as amended
The Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) includes the Draft EIR, the Response to Comments received during the circulation period and the proposed changes to the Draft EIR incorporated in response to the comments received and minor editorial changes by staff, as discussed above in this notice.
Members of the public will be given opportunity to provide comment at this hearing.

Bids for ski lift construction Request for Proposal Eastern Plumas Recreation District is soliciting a request for proposal for construction of the Squaw Chair Lift at Johnsville Historic Ski Bowl. Qualified General Engineering Contractors can find the bid package at skijohnsville.com. Contractor responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor shall provide all materials, methods and techniques for turn-key installation of chair lift as described in Stephenson Engineering package. Work must meet approval of California Division of Tramways, State Parks and Stephenson Engineering. 2. Contractor shall maintain General liability and worker's compensation coverage and any additional insurance deemed necessary throughout duration of project and show proof of coverage for consideration of proposal. 3. Contractor shall comply with all California State Park regulations regarding construction. Contractor is singularly responsible for compliance with all restrictions of the Mitigated Negative Declaration. 4. Upon completion of construction, Contractor shall remediate all site disturbance to satisfaction of all authorities having jurisdiction. 5. Any damages, additional fees or fines for non-compliance shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor. Proposals can be submitted by July 15, 2013, to Eastern Plumas Recreation District, P.O.
