FISH FOR A WISH AT BIG COVE
For the 10th consecutive year, Gary and Paul Casella are hosting the Fish for a Wish tournament at their Lake Almanor business, Big Cove Resort. The event benefits the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation that includes 17 counties in northern California. The event’s organizer, Gary’s son, A.J. Casella, has successfully raised over $400,000 in cash and in-kind contributions. It’ll take place Aug. 9 at Big Cove. Following the tournament — which is open to kids and adults — there will be prize giveaways, a silent auction and lunch.
