NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lassen County ballots for the June 5, 2018 Statewide Direct Primary Election, will be tallied at the election office located in the Historic Courthouse, at 220 South Lassen Street, Suite 5, Susanville, CA 96130.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that, pursuant to Elections Code §15360, the elections official will conduct a public manual tally of the ballots tabulated by voting system devices, including vote by mail ballots, in one percent of the precincts chosen at random by the elections official. In addition to the one percent manual tally, the elections official shall, for each race not included in the initial group of precincts selected at random, count one additional precinct, and the additional precinct(s) shall apply only to the race(s) not previously counted.

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that the selection of precincts to be tallied shall occur on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. at the Lassen County Election Office, located in the Historic Courthouse at 220 South Lassen St., Susanville, CA 96130. The manual tally of the precincts selected shall commence on Thursday June 7, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. in the same location.
