NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND HEARING

The Plumas County Community Development Commission (PCCDC) invites public comment on the Commission’s Annual Plan for the Housing Choice Voucher and Public Housing Programs for the period 7/1/2018 to 6/30/2019. These documents will be available for review during normal business hours at PCCDC’s main office, 183 West Main Street, Quincy, CA 95971.

The PCCDC Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing and will consider adoption of the Plan at a Regular Meeting on March 20, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers – 3rd floor, County Court House, 520 W. Main St. Quincy, CA. The Plan reviews the program goals of the previous Year’s Plan and sets goals for next year.

Individuals with impaired hearing and/or speech impediments and having a Telecommunication Device for The Deaf (TDD) may dial 1(800) 735-2929 to reach the Commission. The County of Lassen is seeking a qualified firm to provide electronic payment processing services. Proposal packets are available on the Lassen County website at www.co.lassen.ca.us or may be picked up at the Lassen County Tax Collector’s Office, 220 S. Lassen Street, Suite 3, Susanville, CA 96130. Please call 530-251-8221 for additional information.

SUMMARY OF PROPOSED CHANGES TO TITLE 3 OF THE LASSEN COUNTY CODE

TO BE VOTED ON BY THE LASSEN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

ON FEBRUARY 13, 2018

An ordinance is proposed to be voted on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, by the Lassen County Board of Supervisors which would amend Title 3 of the Lassen County Code.  Title 3 of the Lassen County Code pertains to the assessment and collection of fines and fees by the Lassen County Probation Department. Specifically, the ordinance would amend Title 3 of the Lassen County Code in the following ways:

  • The language has been updated to comport with the change in the language of California Government Code section 27757 regarding juvenile offenders; and
  • It eliminates the imposition and collection of enumerated fines and fees as they pertain to juvenile offenders.

The Butte Meadow Decks Sale is located within Township 26 North, Range 4 East, Section 30; Mount Diablo Meridian. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Chester, CA at 10:00 AM local time on 02/06/2018 for an estimated volume of 10 CCF of Cull Douglas Fir logs, and 4 CCF of Cull White Fir logs marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the 900 East Highway 36, Chester, CA 96020.
