Provisional Appointment of Trustee
Feather River Community College District Pursuant to California Education Code Sections 5091 and 5092, the Board of Trustees of the Feather River Community College District has made a provisional appointment of Dr. Dana S. Ware as the member of the Board of Trustees representing District 5. This vacancy occurred as of December 8, 2011, and was duly filed with the Plumas County Superintendent of Schools on December 13, 2011, with an effective resignation date of January 2, 2012. The provisional appointment was made at the Board of Trustees meeting held January 19, 2012. In accordance with California Education Code Section 5092, Dr. Dana S. Ware will hold the office until the next regular election to be held in November 2012. Pursuant to California Education Code Section 5092, unless a petition calling for a special election, containing a sufficient number of signatures, is filed in the office of the County Superintendent of Schools within 30 days of the date of the provisional appointment, it shall become an effective appointment.
