A new season begins with Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’

On Thursday, Sept. 14, enjoy an enchanted evening for the Season Opening Gala and performance of William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

In this timeless comedy, Shakespeare’s famous lovers take refuge in the woods and wander into the midst of a dispute between the king and queen of the fairies. A tale of wonder, magic, love and mayhem, it doesn’t matter if you’re mortal or magical, love makes a fool of everyone on this enchanted midsummer night.

In January, ring in the New Year with the Sisters of Hoboken in the hilarious Vegas revue, “Nunsensations!”

Finally, in May, Feather River College takes patrons to an island paradise for the treasured musical classic, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific.”

Staff at the West End Theatre say now is the perfect time to become a season ticket holder and that the West End Theatre has grown to become a valuable artistic and cultural resource in the community, known for its quality theatre productions, outstanding children’s theatre program and desirable venue for music performances and community events.

The West End Theatre believes that a flourishing arts community not only enriches a town’s culture, but its spirit as well. Whether attending a live music concert, enrolling your child in one of the youth programs, audition for a production or simply want quality entertainment, dramaworks and The West End Theatre are here. Take advantage of all it has to offer.
