Players score!

Co-ed softball players from Greenville, Quincy, Chester and Chico showed their endurance competing against one another in the last of the Gold Digger Indian Valley Co-ed Softball tournaments July 29 and 30 in 98 degree heat.

Spirits were as high as the temperature as everyone won by having a really good time. Children enjoyed a running through the sprinkler to cool off and adults resisted the heat with chilled beverages between games.

Local businesses showed their support of the healthy outdoors competition by sponsoring trophies for the event: Riley’s Jerky, D & M Garden, Evergreen Market and Taylorsville Tavern.
