Gusty north winds are expected today and Thursday. Temperatures Thursday and Friday will be 8 to 12 degrees above normal with the north valley in the low to mid 70s and the foothills and mid elevations in the upper 50s to mid 60s.
The weather pattern will change on the weekend as the high pressure area that is currently along the coast moves back to the west. This will allow storms to drop southward from Alaska into the western U.S.
