Quincy wrestlers have another amazing weekend

“Our Quincy Wrestlers had another amazing weekend of competition down at Durham High School for the Northern Section Division 3/4 tournament on Feb. 12,” said Quincy High School Assistant Coach Russell Nickerson. “We took six wrestlers down resulting in our Team finishing in fifth out of 11 teams and all six of our wrestlers placed in the top 5.”
The top four wrestlers are qualified to move on the Master’s (Sections) Tournament with any fifth-place competitor being the alternate, and thus having a good chance of competing in the Section Tournament. The Northern Section Master’s Tournament (Sections) will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 18 and 19 at Corning Union High School.

106 lbs – Connor Pangburn (3rd Place)
113 lbs – Daniel Nickerson (2nd Place)
120 lbs – Eli Steele (3rd Place)
126 lbs – Augustin McNally (5th Place, Alternate)
152 lbs – Quinton Vert (3rd Place)
182 lbs – Aidan Powers (2nd Place)
