AAU Basketball teams from Plumas take Redding tournament

Local AAU boys and girls basketball teams, Plumas and Monstars, brought the heat to Redding this past weekend when they traveled for a two-day tournament, where the older boys were crowned tournament champions!
AAU is a unique sports experience where kids from all over Plumas County come together to play on a team as one, bringing sportsmanship to a new level. Kids that are at times competitors in school sports become teammates on the court through AAU, bringing the younger generation of Plumas together. Congratulations Monstars for bringing home the Nor Cal Heat championship! And the Plumas Hoops for taking second.
