Active shooter training Tuesday
The California Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office, will be conducting an active shooter training at Feather River College on Tuesday, Oct. 17. During the training, simulated ammunition rounds will be used, so the sound of gun shots may be heard sporadically throughout the late afternoon in the FRC library area. It’s requested that individuals who hear the gun shots, refrain from calling 911. The library and learning center will be closed for the day.
