Indian Valley Community Services District (Owner) is requesting Sealed Bids for the construction of the following Project:
NORTH MAIN WATER USE EFFICIENCY & RELIABILITY PROJECT
Mailed Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at:
Indian Valley Community Services District, PO Box 207, Crescent Mills, CA 95934-0207.
Mailed Bids delivered to Indian Valley Community Services District Post Office Box must be at the Post Office by 5:00 p.m., on the day before the Bid Opening as stated below.
Hand delivered Bids can be delivered to:
Indian Valley Community Services District, 127 Crescent Street Suite #1, Greenville, CA 95947-0899.
Hand delivered Bids will be received until 2:00 pm, on June 15, 2023 local time at which time Bids will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
This Project consists of the installation of approximately 300 feet of 8-inch diameter C900 PVC pipe and 331 feet of 4-inch C900 PVC pipe for potable water along with valves and fittings as shown on the Contract Drawings. The Project also includes the installation of customer services and the installation of fire hydrants, ARV’s and blow-offs. The Project also includes the demolition and abandonment of existing pipeline, customer services and hydrants as shown on the Contract Drawings.
Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $400,000. The Project has an expected duration of 90 days.

Bidding Documents (Contract Documents, Technical Specifications, Plans) may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on June 7, 2023 at 9:00am at Indian Valley Community Services District, 127 Crescent Street, Suite #1, Greenville, CA, 95947. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
Instructions to Bidders.
For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
Prospective Bidders shall be licensed Contractors in the State of California and shall be skilled and regularly engaged in the general class or type of work called for under the Contract. Each Bidder shall have a Class A General Engineering California Contractor’s License.
This contract does not provide for substitution of securities for any monies withheld by the Owner to ensure performance under this contract. Bidders are further notified that this contract does not permit retainage to be placed in escrow nor to be invested for the benefit of the contractor.
