After delays due to weather – there will be a June blood drive in Quincy
After having to cancel the March Quincy Community Blood Drive due to weather—twice, no less—Vitalant will be here in June!
All disappointed donors will have a chance to make up your previously scheduled “good deed” on one of two days, Tuesday, June 6 (noon to 6 p.m.) or Wednesday, June 7 (9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).
The Quincy Lions Club is sponsoring the drive, and, as always, it will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, corner of Bucks Lake Road and Bellamy Lane, just west of the hospital.
To schedule an appointment, call local drive coordinator Elizabeth Smailes at 435-590-1531. Or you “do it yourselfers” can go online to donors.vitalant.org and search for Blood Drive Code QUINCY.
Either way, your community and the local blood supply need what you have to offer. Please join organizers and the Lions Club in helping both ourselves and others.
