All aboard for the return of the Pumpkin Patch Express at WPRM


The museum at WPRM opens at 10 a.m., and trains will depart hourly from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

All are invited to ride the train to get to the Pumpkin Patch where pumpkins can be found and purchased, along with opportunities to enjoy special exhibits and Halloween fun. Cost of admission for event at $10 per car at the gate or $5 with three cans of food for the local EPCAN Food Bank. Western Pacific Railroad Museum is a non-profit and hosts this annual event in an effort to donate canned food to EPCAN, a vital community program.

Attendees will also have a chance to ride diesel night trains on Saturday, October 15 and Saturday, October 22 with trains departing between 7:30 and 9 p.m.

The WP 165 Steam Locomotive will also be running on October 22-23 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
