The Almanor Fishing Association has been steadily carrying on its dedicated efforts to make Lake Almanor healthier and one of Northern California’s premier fisheries, even during the difficult times of the last two years.  Raising and daily feeding the new trout that will be released this spring.

The members are also preparing for the Veterans Fishing Day that has been a huge hit with Nor-Cal veterans, but had been suspended recently due to COVID. More than 50 boats participated during the last live event. This year’s affair will take place on June 25 and will, again, include a day of Lake Almanor fishing followed by the usual impressive barbeque and celebration. Veterans can contact Deb at (707) 841-2493 to sign up.
