Bah, humbug!

This Christmas holiday, dramaworks/West End Theatre presents the spectacular musical adaptation of the unforgettable Christmas tale by Charles Dickens. “A Christmas Carol” will fill your heart with light, warmth and the joy of the season.

The bitter old miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. He is visited by the ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Future who force him to examine his selfish ways, and help transform him into a gentle, kind and caring man.

Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and other favorite characters will delight audiences in the retelling of this endearing classic.

“The only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys.”

Director Russ Schmid states, “This quote from Charles Dickens strikes me as unique for a comment about this holiday. Instead of focusing on the short Christmas season, it gives a reminder to us for the whole year. We look forward to sharing our take on this story with you.”
