The pandemic has been rough on local craft people.  Lauren Houston, owner of the Blairsden Garden Center has been a life saver.  Starting on Saturday, May 7,  the Garden Center will again host the Blairsden Community Market.  A loyal group of local vendors will set up in the parking lot between Bread and Butter and the Garden Center on Bonta Street in Blairsden.  This year Lauren has scheduled an event every Saturday from Mother’s day weekend, May 7, until the last Saturday in September.

As usual there will about 20 vendors in the market.   A wide variety of goods will be offered. Patrons can expect to see hot drinks, fresh produce, meat products, pies, baked goods, wood crafts and rustic furniture.

The Community Market will be open from 10 am until 1 pm at 191 Bonta Street in Blairsden.
