C. Roy Carmichael elementary hosts annual Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) membership drive

C. Roy Carmichael is hosting their annual Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) membership drive, and invite all in the community to join in. Every membership helps the CRC PTA work towards their mission to positively impact the lives of all children and families. Some of the programs and events that the PTA sponsor include Red Ribbon Week, the annual Read-A-Thon, Scholastic News, library books and resources, STEM resources, and student assemblies.

Memberships cost $10 per person with no additional commitment required. Anyone can be a member- parents, grandparents, neighbors and friends. The CRC PTA accepts cash or checks payable to CRC PTA, or join online at https://jointotem.com/ca/portola/c-roy-carmichael-pta.

The CRC PTA is also looking for volunteers to assist with planned family events this year, such as movie nights. The PTA board has openings to be filled, with the positions of Vice President, Fundraising Chairman, and Family Engagement Chairman currently unfilled.
