As of Dec. 31, there had been 468 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Plumas County and four deaths. As of that day, 42 cases were active. Lake Almanor resident Dale Knutsen charted those cases providing a quick glimpse of how the cases rose sharply in the final weeks of 2020.
As the year came to a close, the Plumas County Public Health Agency announcedthat there were 12 confirmed coronavirus cases Dec. 31 including cases at the county correctional facility.
