Under a beautiful blue sky, the Chester Elementary School promotion of the sixth-grade class of 2022 took place on the football field at the high school June 8.  With a large crowd of parents, families and celebratory friends watching, the sixth-graders were introduced, advised and ultimately bid a fond farewell from the school many have known as their school home for the last seven years. Principal Colly Fischer and Plumas Unified School District Board Member Traci Holt offered words of encouragement and delivered the students’ diplomas.

The Class of 2022 included: Nalah Ackley, Lia Chase, Chase Chism, Colby Clark, Zachary Dean, Hailey Delong, Patrick Gerbatz, Gwenivere Graham, Jack Graham, Riet Graves, Michael Haymore, Everlina Heng, Kevin Hughes, Kylie Kistle, Stevie Kuersten, Seth Linn, Ellie Martens, Maddisynlee Miller, Cash Monteith, Allison Moore, Justin Munjar, Aubrey Nashlund, Caden Norton, Lorna Rogers, Sophia Salazar, Jenna Schlueter, Miley Taddei, Josiah Van Giesen, and Seth Waller.

Congratulations to you all and good luck as you take on the challenges in the next phase of your education.
