It’s always nice to have Mother Nature on your side when it comes to graduation night at Chester High School. With clear skies and a little wind, the graduating Class of 2022 was able to celebrate their ceremony in the traditional manner on the football field. This year’s graduation featured 17 students that will be joining the ranks of the “adult” world as they venture into many different fields of endeavor. Some will be going directly into the work force, some into the military and others into college, but all will be relying on the knowledge they acquired here as they move forward to places and challenges unknown. Co-Valedictorians, Juan Pablo Flores and Jacklyn Zuniga, offered words of thanks, and challenge to their classmates and it sounded like a sigh of joy as Principal Terry Hernandez and PUSD Trustee Traci Holt handed out the diplomas. Congratulations ‘Class of 2022’.
Following are the graduates: Nicholas Bauer, Zackery Brent, Brian Brooks, Cayleb Clark, Juan Flores, Co-Valedictorian; Joe Garrett, Ashlyn Heard, Salutatorian; Madison Hovland, Richard Long, Leah Luther, Wade Neer, Adayja Sanchez, Joseph Tantardino, Tory Utterback, Zachary Wilkinson, Chloe Wiseman and Jacklyn Zuniga, Co-Valedictorian.
