Chester man suffers major injuries after rollover accident
According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, Sean McCurdy of Chester was driving his 2017 Ram 1500 eastbound on Warner Valley Road at a high rate of speed on Tuesday, May 30 at approximately 8:40 p.m. According to the report, McCurdy lost control of the pickup, left the roadway, and rolled multiple times. He was not wearing his seatbelt, and due to the extent of his injuries, he was flown to Enloe Medical Center. McCurdy was arrested for driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. This crash is still under investigation.
The CHP would like to remind the public to never drink and drive and to always wear your seatbelt.
His friends are looking for his black lab, Juno, a friendly dog, now missing, that was with him in the crash.
