The winning ticket was drawn during the guild’s monthly meeting held Oct. 11. Tickets are sold at craft shows, but this year so many were canceled because of smoke and the Dixie Fire.
Guild member Anne Mathews made the quilt top and many ladies in the guild helped complete it and it was then machine quilted.
The group is now working on the next quilt and the winning ticket will be drawn on the second Monday in October 2022.
The Chester PieceMakers hold their monthly meetings on the second Monday of every month at 1 p.m. at the Almanor Rec Building in Chester. All are welcome.
