Chester PieceMakers reveal this year’s opportunity quilt – buy a ticket to win it
The Chester PieceMakers hold one fundraiser a year – the raffle of its Opportunity Quilt. Beginning May 9, anyone can purchase a ticket from a quilt member for a chance to win it in October. Tickets are $1 each , or 6 for $5. The quilt will be on display at various craft fairs this summer.Usually all members add a square to make the quilt, but this time, member Anne Mathews, donated the top and the members added the back and the border. Debbie Hicks out of Susanville machine quilted it.
The next meeting of the Chester PieceMakers is Monday, May 9, at 1 p.m. in the Almanor Recreation Center. The public is welcome.
