CHP to focus on speeders through Greenville, Crescent Mills

The California Highway Patrol will be stepping up patrols of Crescent Mills and Greenville in an effort to slow down speeders through the two towns.

Lt. Commander Chris Parent said Wednesday morning, June 1, that as the corridor through Greenville largely has been cleared, there are no impediments to motorists speeding through town. Reports of speeding have increased and it’s a problem not only in Greenville, but in Crescent Mills as well.

As a result, motorists will see an increased CHP presence in the area and should adhere to the posted speed limits.
