Church of Christ collapses under snow

This winter’s snowstorms have claimed another victim — the Church of Christ in Chester. The collapse, which occurred April 1, came when no one was in the building. Thus far, none of the collapsed buildings in Plumas County have been occupied.

Two vacant Graeagle vacation homes, Bucks Lake Lodge, and other outbuildings have collapsed this winter. As the season progresses and the snow melts, more damage may be uncovered.

Reporter Greg Scott will be reporting on what this means for the church in Chester and that information will be posted as it becomes available.
