Community meeting regarding Indian Valley schools June 15
A community meeting will be held in the Greenville Elementary School cafeteria this Thursday, June 15, at 6 p.m., to discuss the future of Indian Valley schools. Parents and other interested residents will work to create a unified message for the boards of Plumas Unified and Plumas Charter School (Indian Valley Academy).
The meeting will begin with Lindsey Buis-Kelly leading a discussion about what the valley wants for its students as the area recovers from the Dixie fire and beyond. The second part of the meeting will be led by Dan Kearns and Kest Porter with the goal of creating a recommendation for the Plumas County Office of Education Foundation on how to use the $2 million from PG&E to help create that future.
All community members who are interested in education in Indian Valley are encouraged to attend.
